So I was logging into Middle Ground tonight and I was immediately drawn to this link in the Ads by Google at the top of the page.

I'd like to open up this concept for discussion. Among the monotheistic religions, by definition, there is one G-d. Do you this is the same one? Or... what?

Please note, I did not click on the link. I have no idea what it says, but it could provide interesting insight for opinions on this topic. Also, please disregard how I spelt G-d. I personally do not feel like I am able to write that word as a proper noun. Thanks.

I can do the robo-cop.

The Ad was for a book. Is God a Christian?.....Well, I would say the Christian God is a Christian. The word christian means "Christ like" Even though there are a lot of so called Christians that call them self's Christians that are not very Christ like....lol

Thats one I'm not sure how to answer. Christian means to be Christ like as Christy said, but Christ is supposed to be God's son. So wouldn't it make it more like Christ is like God? If so wouldn't the answer be no? I'm probably overanalyzing the actual question as usual...

DDC- You wouldn't be the first. Did you know the Byzantines spent over four centuries arguing- and sometimes killing each other- over whether Christ was human AND divine, or divine only? People died over it.

Christy, I'm not trying to say Christ was anything. All I'm saying is that people have been murdering each other over semantics for centuries (and don't get me started on the Iconoclasts).

It depends on that persons religios believe, We need to respect these believes, Methodist, Mormon (Church of Latter day Saints) Jewish etc, etc, Even the Hollywood Sciece Fiction religion of Scientology, Also the Muslim faith.
Every religion has there version of "The Holy Spirit"
I am Anostic I believe in parts of the King James version of the Bible and Parts of Darwins Theroy of Evolution, An I try my best not to get invovled with major arguements.
