Hey, I thought I'd inaugerate the introductions folder.
My name's Buber and I enjoy sushi and the Golden state. There's nothing that sounds more fun than driving up and down a highway in the California afternoon sun, shooting a reel of film and listening to the stereo.
I've known CoR for a few years now, we met through a livejournal community I used to run. I wonder if it's still around. He told me about his idea and I was flattered to have been offered a mod position.
My name comes from Martin Buber, the Austrian philosepher, because Soloveitchik would be too long to remember how to spell correctly each time I logged in. Speaking of, I'll never judge you if you misspell a word or two because it's happened to me just like it's happened to everyone. I think that's enough of an intro.. I've rambled too much already.
I can do the robo-cop.

Congrats on your new position, I hope CoR is paying you well. LOL By the way, I notice you are the mod for the Abrahamic forum. Are you Christian? Or just a glutton for punishment?

Hiya Buber.

"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them." -- Matthew 7:15-19 |

Haha... a glutton for punishment? More like a sucker for a friend with a plan. And I'll answer your other question in my Questions thread, as others may have the same question further down the line.
And Sissy, I can also do the frug. ;)

Hello, Buber! I just wanted to say hi... and I also wanted to tell you that I cannot do the Smurf. ;-)

Yay, I'm so happy someone got my reference. It was what I was listening to when I registered and since I like to be pretty random sometimes, I thought why not, right?
